our team has been pretty busy with work and stuff, and somemore it's the CNY period. hahaha.

and yeah, we were hanging around amk vland yesterday, Ragefire and myself broke our own personal best. for me, 1165, and for him, 825. woot! improvements!

me and THS tagged too, almost 1.6k. i think we played till 1587. haha. yupppp.

and im considering changing Team DreamStars to a team not only with bballers, but with gamers for different games. like a arcading team. :P

He is able to shoot two balls at a time when the sensor can't even sense that it's two balls going into the hoop. So when he misses, he can use a ball to cover another which makes no miss at all. And when two balls go in, the accuracy increases.

and about yesterday's training, i improved my personal best again! it's 1107 now (:

anyway, i know this is the so called 'death period' of our semester.. yeah so just concentrate on studies. training will be postponed and dragged till most prob after CNY. yupp.

and a good news!
lets welcome our 8th dreamer, [DS] Ravean, to team dreamstars as our designer! (:
she's not a bball player, but has potential if she wants to. she'll be in charged of any designing work if we require.
For now, she's about to finish our team-tee back design. ^^

and almost all the private members should have their own color of newbie tee now, we'll wear it as our casual training attire, and only on important occasions we'll wear our own team tee.

for a short notice and update for 2009,

ok guys, we've all been waiting long for competitions and stuff. im sure this year we should join some.

so far out of all our 6 dreamers, we have only 3 in proper training, which is myself, D4rkd0me and KaMi.

- KaMi will be taking a short break from basketball because of the lack of funds. He will join back the training after Chinese New Year. (:

- Ragefire is currently playing more JuBeats than basketball, so i guess he won't improve very much on his shooting.

- AzCeRz has been slacking too much and not playing, and he even failed to go stage 5. that's.. X_X please improve yourself if you want to join any up coming competitions.

a great news, lets welcome Kelvin aka theNoobShit to be our team's advisor (:
his great experience, skills and gameplay will surely boost our team's strength by a lot.
im not sure whether he wants to join us officially though, what do you say, Kelvin? :P

me and D4rkd0me will join the upcoming Zone-x street basketball challenge, and will start serious training starting this Saturday, AMK hub zone-x, 7pm to about 9pm. interested dreamers coming for training please message me. it's not very expensive as topping up $10 will get another $10 free.
Kelvin will join us to help us out with some tips and suggestions.

the final target should be aimed at 7 balls, scoring 700 at least.
however for these few weeks of training, we'll be aiming for 8 balls for a score of 700.

details for team-tee will be discussed at the end of this week, ideas and suggestions please msn or tag it at the tagboard.
colour of the shirt will surely be black :P
we wouldn't wanna dirty our shirts by the dusty balls. ha.

hmmm, a short update now (:
just now, me, D4rkd0me, Ragefire, KaMi, together with 2 other classmates went to watch ipman!
as usual, we dropped by the arcade at AMK hub Zone-X for some bballing time. hahah.

i played quite a few games, like, 8 at least? hahaha. i broke my own record for zone-x machines, it's 701 now! yay!
and sad news, i lost to a guy just now. score was 677-723.
i won him first game, 701-625, but he didn't use his turbo during tt game D:
i guess he's just more qiang den me lor. :/

and kelvin, why werent you there!! your prosome powers were needed .___.

anyway, should we get a team tee soon? it's like so aweeesome. hahah. suggestions on tagboard pls!

hmmm here's a summary of the meetup:

all players did quite okay,
d4rkd0me scored to much of his standard, scoring to a range of 900 > 1036 (:
Ragefire didnt play that much, so i couldnt judge. ;P
KaMi played a lot, but needs to brush up ALOT on his accuracy.
AzCeRz needs to improve ALOT. you're losing touch of bball. lol. how can you fail at stage 4?!

and for me, i broke my own personal record. (:
current record now is 1104.
next target: 1150 to 1200.

dreamers, i'll set targets for you guys now, so please try to achieve them.

xMysticque, D4rkd0me and Ragefire are back from the 5D4N Genting Trip!

firstly, thanks to D4rkd0me's parents for sponsoring the hotel cost, transport, and almost all our meals.

the trip is pretty fun, and we earned a total of 32159 tickets there, exchanged 16 plushies.

i guess we 3 have pretty much improved our stamina and speed after playing for 4 days straight at the arcade, came back with lots of muscle aching and finger problems. LOL. i hope you both are recovering soon :)

a new virtualand is opened behind AMK hub. hmmm it's always kinda empty there, good for training. but the balls are very new so it's hard to grip.

we'll be having a short gathering this saturday probably, vland @ bugis, dreamers who are coming please text me. im asking Kelvin, the godly single hander to come along too! (:

it seeeeems so long since i've updated!

there's nth much to update actually so i didnt really update it >_<

anyway, here are some recent events or happenings:

private members of team dreamstars have been given a keychain with their names on it. :)
it's a gift from me, hope y'all like it.

well, sch has reopened and our training stopped for months. everyone has been doing their own practicing, and we're starting to play more on court basketball rather than arcade.
why nyp dun have a arcade within it's compound? D< hahaha.

i hope the team wouldnt fall >_<' some of the members still going on practice when we're out for outings, that's great :D but everyone will be maintaining the same score but not improving. D4rkd0me is still doing good so far, with 800 points quite often. i hope ariffin is doing well too. havent met him for weeks or rather months.

really looking forward for dream shooter compy to come! street basketball @ zone-x china cup just ended. i missed it :/ shall wait for next year..

im still training hard whenever i can, hitting almost 1.1k alr. highest is 1097 so far. some members have new high scores as well, keep it up!

3 team dreamstars members are going genting during this short term break for poly:

tudi ph (KaMi) came to bishan today cuz i wanted to get his Nebo card. so we went training after that. he played damn lots and i notice a few things which i'll say later. :)

so we kinda had a small training session @ J8 today for an hour or so.

anyway, we both tagged at our last game and broke 1 of the records on the machine, which is my previous 1006, to 1032 :)

Therefore, highest tagging score is now current 1032!

Comments for [DS] KaMi
Speed is fast as double handed compared to D4rkd0me, but needs a lot of improvement for accuracy.
Accuracy isn't good as you're a single hander, but trying to learn to be a double-hander now. I think you'll need more time to get used to it. Section 1&2 the accuracy lies around 56%-60%. You're quite stable sometimes and can get in quite alot of balls fast and without any miss. But it's like really restarting all your skills to be a double-hand, and requires re-training. D:

The GREAT thing is that, you can play BOTH. it's very very good. Double hander for solo, and single hander for tagging. :)

Change of Rules and Prizes in Team DreamStars scoring system

Rules
I will not record the scores of your individual training, as it might be quite unfair if one of the members decides to play cheat and report a fake score to me.

From today onwards, all high scores will only be accepted when the leader is there, which means on training sessions and small outings.

Prizes
I will only award 20 virtualand tokens to the first TWO players who reach 800, not everyone who reaches 800. sorry about that as I dont have really that much money to spare. =/
so, work hard as there're only 40 tokens to be given out :D

A new prize: First player to reach 950 will have another special prize. I'm still thinking of it though. :)

alright! some video showing some other team and player out there!! they are strong players and could be our opponent some days @.@

Team Eagle : A team specialized in double. They got a 1st runner up at 2006 Singapore cup. Current activities is still unknown, could be stronger after 2 years.

Moon : A strong double hand player. His accuracy is one of the godlike one! however i feel if the speed could be faster, he will be a beyond godlike character.

Unknowns : This unknown double hand player, his skill surpass the skill of moon! strong in both aspect of accuracy and speed. Definitely a strong player!

Yaya : She is one the strong single hand female player! she is quite famous on youtube, I saw a few video on her. Also, she got a similar throwing style as mine.

Retard : Definitely retard! This is just for fun! Absolutely don't follow their ways of playing. It is totally uncool! -.-"

we're back from chalet (:
it was absolutely fun and TIRING. haha.

went to play @ the basketball machines at e-hub. LOlx. there was this kiddy height basketball machine which gives tickets for every play, and it was quite worth it man.
i broke the high scoreeeee! =x

me, D4rkd0me, and AzCeRz stayed in the arcade till it closed. the training was real funnn (:
i guess you guys improved your speed of shooting? ^_^ gogogo work harder!

the thing is WE Won all 7 matches!! with 1 lost...woohooo!!
